My name is Aaron Black and I am a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, and comedy show producer with more than eight years’ experience.

EXPERIENCE

Co-Founder/Producer, The Brew HaHa Comedy Show — 2013-present

Brew HAHA is a stand-up comedy show with audience interaction performed monthly in Los Angeles, California. Attendance ranges between 300 and 400 people per show.
Brew HAHA has been featured in LA Weekly, Time Out LA, and is hailed by the comedy community as one of the best independently run shows in Los Angeles. Collaborators include MTV who financed a pilot episode.

Achievements: Winner of Best Stand Up at the 19th Los Angeles Comedy Festival (2016), Winner of HaHa Cafe Comedy Competition (2013), Semi-finalist at Uncle Clyde’s Comedy Competition (2012).                                                                                                                                                    

Sketch Writer/Actor — 2012-present

Live performance: Member of Straight Jacket Society Theatre. Wrote and performed two shows, each performed once a week for eight weeks (2014).                                          

Sketch Films: Over twenty live sketches on YouTube. Sketches have been featured on Funny or Die Community homepage, and on The Laugh Button’s Best Sketch of the Week section.                                                                                                            

Content Creator: Developed and produced sketch content for Echo Lake Paddle Boats and the Brew HAHA Comedy Show.
